On Tube-Type rims you can also Tube-Less tyres ,but not the opposite (you can not use TubeType tyres on a TL rim, because it will not seal well and will loose air)

The thickness of the inner tube will depend on the application you want to use the bike;
- light tubes on-road.
- thicker tubes to avoid flat tyres when riding ONLY off-road, because they could fail due to overheat on the road at high speed (above 50 Km/h)
